A native of Devon in the beautiful South West I have grown up immersed in music. After studying Classical and Jazz flute I graduated from University College Chichester with an Honors Degree in Music. During that time I became influenced by traditional and minimalist music which in their own way started me on my journey as a composer. Since these early experimental days I have become a teacher and performer of classical, jazz, improvised and traditional music but have always desired to get back to writing and get these pieces, some of which have been floating around my head for a very long time, out of my head and onto paper and into life!
I now live and work in the West of Ireland, an inspirational place for any artist, and have finally found the place and space to start creating.
